Therapy provides an opportunity for a person to better understand oneself; to grow; to find the acceptance, awareness and peace that can only come from inside. Therapy can be challenging and also very rewarding. It often involves learning to step outside your comfort zone. With practice, and support, you can become more comfortable with being uncomfortable. Is this that leads to increased strength and courage as well as growth and change.

I'll teach you skills which can support the changes you want to make in your life.

WHAT KIND OF THERAPY DO YOU NEED?

As a therapist I work collaboratively with each client in a unique way that suits them as an individual or as a couple. You know yourself best. I help by observing and sharing insights that you may not have noticed, teaching skills you may never have learned, and gaining awareness of not only who you are but who you want to be.  It is a journey worth taking!

There are many ways to do therapy: short-term or long-term therapy, individual or couple, skills-focused or insight-focused. 

The world is changing and how therapy is offered has changed as well. I now mostly conduct sessions virtually by video. I have been pleasantly surprised to see that most of my clients virtual sessions can be as effective as in -person sessions.
